The Manager of Drug Pipeline Opportunities plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and advancing new drug opportunities for Option Care Health’s infusion services platform. This role partners closely with pharmaceutical manufacturers—both existing and prospective—to source pipeline assets, assess organizational readiness, and quantify the financial, operational, and strategic impact of supporting new therapies. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of specialty infusion, biologics, and the pharmaceutical development lifecycle.Job Description:

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of specialty infusion, biologics, and the pharmaceutical development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Drug Pipeline Sourcing & Partner Engagement
- Proactively source and track new drug opportunities across pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners, with a focus on infusion-administered and specialty therapies.
- Serve as a key point of contact for manufacturers regarding pipeline discussions, asset reviews, and launch planning considerations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners while supporting outreach to prospective manufacturers.
Opportunity Assessment & Strategic Evaluation
- Lead comprehensive assessments of new drug opportunities, including clinical profile, site-of-care fit, reimbursement landscape, competitive dynamics, and alignment with Option Care Health’s capabilities.
- Size market opportunities and estimate patient volume, revenue potential, margin impact, and long-term growth contribution.
- Evaluate non-financial impacts, including operational complexity, nursing and pharmacy requirements, supply chain considerations, technology needs, and compliance implications.
Financial Modeling & Business Case Development
- Develop and maintain financial models to estimate the economic impact of supporting new drugs, including launch and steady-state scenarios.
- Partner with Finance to validate assumptions related to pricing, reimbursement, cost-to-serve, and capital or resource investment.
- Prepare clear, data-driven business cases and recommendations for senior leadership to support go/no-go and prioritization decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Clinical, Pharmacy, Nursing, Operations, Trade & Contracting, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, and IT teams to assess readiness and execution requirements.
- Work with internal Program Teams to support internal launch planning by translating pipeline insights into actionable timelines, risks, and resource needs.
- Ensure alignment between manufacturer expectations and contractual requirements and Option Care Health’s operational and strategic priorities.
Pipeline Governance & Reporting
- Maintain a structured pipeline tracking process, including stage gating, prioritization, and leadership updates.
- Develop executive-ready presentations summarizing opportunity insights, risks, and recommendations.
- Monitor pipeline evolution and update assumptions as clinical, regulatory, or commercial conditions change.
Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $126,505.85-$210,858.08Benefits:
