John C. Rademacher
President & Chief Executive Officer
John C. Rademacher possesses nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, successfully deploying technology solutions and expanding professional services capabilities. Under Rademacher’s guidance, Option Care Health has become an innovative leader in home and alternate site infusion services, with best-in-class care and improved clinical outcomes leading to high patient satisfaction and cost efficiencies for all stakeholders.
Prior to his tenure at Option Care Health, Rademacher joined Option Care in 2015 when he was appointed Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan to significantly transform the company’s operating model through the investment in people, process, technology and facilities. This initiative included reimagining and strengthening the practice of pharmacy, nursing, care management, logistics and revenue cycle management across a national platform and deploying the enabling technology. After serving as interim CEO since August 2017, Rademacher was named CEO of Option Care in January 2018.
Rademacher held various executive-level positions at leading healthcare companies, including Cardinal Health where he served as President and General Manager for both the Ambulatory Care Division and the Nuclear and Pharmacy Services divisions. He also acted as president of CareAllies and Chief Operating Officer for the CIGNA Behavioral Health business at Cigna Corporation, where he had responsibility for the development and delivery of care management and population health programs.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Mich., and a Master’s in Business Administration from Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich.

Cliff Berman
General Counsel
Cliff Berman serves as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Option Care Health. Prior to joining Option Care in 2015, Berman served as General Counsel of two public companies, Catamaran Corporation and Allscripts. He has also worked in the legal departments of Baxter, Caremark and Abbott Laboratories.
Earlier in his career, Berman was a litigation associate with Rooks, Pitts and Poust in Chicago, and worked as a registered pharmacist for Walgreens. He also served a 5-year term as a member of the Illinois State Board of Pharmacy and as President of the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA), the national trade association representing pharmacy benefit managers.
Berman attended the University of Michigan for pharmacy school and Loyola University of Chicago for Law School. He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Harriet Booker
Chief Operating Officer
Harriet Booker brings vast leadership experience in the home infusion industry to Option Care Health. For over two decades, she has worked in executive leadership roles for BioScrip, Option Care, its predecessor company Walgreens-Option Care, Coram/CVS Specialty Infusion Services, Coram Specialty Infusion, and Apria Healthcare. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at BioScrip. Previously, she served as Interim Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management for Option Care. Prior to that, and for seven years, Ms. Booker successfully led Sales and Marketing for Coram/CVS Specialty Infusion Services, including roles as Executive Vice President of Sales and Chief Commercial Officer, among others. Booker served in leadership roles for Option Care (and Walgreens-Option Care) from 2002-2008 including Director of Sales Operations, Vice President of Managed Care Sales, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Her home infusion experience also includes pertinent work in patient admissions, revenue cycle management, financial planning, forecasting, pricing, and contracting.
Booker holds bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder as well as an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Tulane University.

Rich Denness
Chief Commercial Officer
Rich Denness brings over 29 years of healthcare experience to Option Care Health, including two decades in executive leadership roles. Key positions held by Denness include Managing Director and Global Healthcare Lead at North Highland Consulting, General Manager, Australia/New Zealand at Schering-Plough, President at IVAX Laboratories (now Teva Respiratory), Vice President and General Manager, Neurology at UCB, CEO of Vycor Medical, and Managing Director at Proudfoot Consulting. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer at BioScrip. His vast experience in leading teams to achieve record results includes growing UCB’s epilepsy franchise nearly five-fold, into a global market leader, while establishing the biopharmaceutical company’s first blockbuster medication exceeding $1 billion in annual revenue. Denness possesses highly-relevant commercial experience in sales, marketing, and managed care, complemented by a deep strategic background.
Denness holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from Missouri State University.

Brett Michalak
Chief Information Officer
As CIO of Option Care Health, Brett Michalak is responsible for all aspects of information technology ensuring alignment of technology initiatives and operations with the Company’s business goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Option Care, Michalak was the CIO for Tickets.com, a privately held subsidiary of Major League Baseball Advanced Media, LP, where he led the creation of the Provenue® software platform – a revolutionary event in the live entertainment ticketing industry. In this role, Michalak was responsible for the product development and technology organizations. Under his leadership, Tickets.com received the 2009 CIO 100 Award from CIO Magazine for creating business value through the effective and innovative use of technology.
Prior to Tickets.com, Michalak held a variety of leadership and technical sales positions in the Technology, Financial Services, and Distribution industries. He is a proven leader with 30 years of operating experience and has a record of success in key roles. Michalak is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and draws on his experience to lead teams to deliver outstanding results.

Cari Reed
Chief Compliance Officer
Cari Reed serves at Option Care Health as the Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer.
Reed has over 17 years’ experience in health care compliance leadership in Chief Compliance and HIPAA Privacy Officer roles, most recently with Option Care since October 2015, as well as leading Internal Audit functions at Saint Barnabas Health System in N.J., Abington Health in PA. and Loyola University Health System in Ill. She has launched start-ups and enhanced existing compliance programs, is sought as a public speaker and panelist, and has lead through the defense of enforcement actions, including whistleblower cases, government agency probes, and successfully saw a health system through a Corporate Integrity Agreement.
Reed holds a bachelor’s degree in International Environmental Studies from Rutgers University and a degree in Health Law from Seton Hall Law School.

Mike Rude
Chief Human Resources Officer
Mike Rude serves Option Care Health as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer with more than 30 years of human resource leadership experience. Throughout his career, he has designed and implemented people and organization strategies to attract, engage, and grow top talent and to foster dynamic cultures that drive outstanding business performance.
Prior to joining Option Care in 2015, Rude was the SVP and CHRO for Catamaran, a pharmacy benefit management company, that grew from $6B to $22B in revenue and employed 6,000 people. Before that time, Rude was the VP and CHRO for Stryker Corporation for 12 years where he was responsible for all human resources activities, leading a team of 400 HR professionals worldwide, and led the communications, public affairs, and government affairs functions. Rude has also worked in HR leadership roles at Boston Scientific, Dun & Bradstreet, and Baxter International.
Rude holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. He and his family live in the Chicagoland area.

Mike Shapiro
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Shapiro serves as Chief Financial Officer for Option Care Health. In this role, he leads all financial aspects of the company including reporting, planning, treasury and tax. Shapiro is also responsible for corporate development responsibilities, including all M&A activities.
Prior to joining Option Care in 2015, Shapiro served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Catamaran Corporation, a publicly-traded pharmacy benefits manager, and as Chief Financial Officer of Rexnord Corporation. Shapiro also spent fifteen years with Baxter International, holding multiple positions of increasing responsibility. He began his career with Deloitte.
Shapiro earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Miami University and a master’s degree from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (not licensed).

Luke Whitworth
SVP, Revenue Cycle Management
Luke Whitworth brings broad healthcare experience to Option Care Health as the Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management. He has responsibility for cash inflows from billing and collections, along with operational excellence initiatives. Prior to joining Option Care Health, he spent nearly fifteen years at Cardinal Health with a proven track record of accomplishment across Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Pricing Strategy, Integration, Sales and General Management. He served as the finance executive to build a multi-billion dollar post-acute business across distribution, services, technology and at-risk payer models. He also had general management responsibility for Home Healthcare Solutions and transformed it’s results to close a record-level of new business.
Whitworth earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Ohio State University as well as an MBA in General Management from the University of Michigan. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (not in public practice).

Brenda Wright
Chief Clinical Officer
Brenda Wright serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for Option Care Health. In this role, she is responsible for clinical leadership, establishing standards of care and leading Option Care Health’s quality initiatives.
Prior to joining Option Care in 2015, Wright’s resume includes more than 20 years of home infusion and specialty pharmacy experience including roles within BioScrip, Accredo Health, and PharmaThera. She has professional affiliations with the American Society of HealthCare Systems Pharmacists and Arkansas Pharmacists Association. She is also cited in numerous publications, papers and presentations within the pharmacy space.
Wright holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences – College of Pharmacy. She completed her residency in nutritional support at the University Hospital Pharmacy in Arkansas.
