Hyperemesis Gravidarum
Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a complication in pregnancy characterized by symptoms including severe nausea, persistent vomiting, weight loss, and dehydration.
Women are at higher risk for hyperemesis if they have had the problem in previous pregnancies or are prone to motion sickness.
While most morning sickness passes within the first trimester, many suffering from HG experience symptoms well beyond and into the remainder of their pregnancy.
